MONONA: Mary Caroline Wiethorn, second eldest daughter of the Rev. Curth Henry Wiethorn and Kathryn Louise Wiethorn, was born May 06, 1854, at Cedar Lake, Ind. Miss Wiethorn joined the Methodist church when 16 years of age, at Watson Iowa, and has been a loyal member ever since. In 1886 she entered the New York City hospital and spent twenty years nursing in New York.

Surviving her are one sister, Mrs. Sarah Lebenstein, of Hubbard, Ia., nineteen nieces and nephews.

Services were held in the Old Stone church at Watson, and were conducted by the Rev. George W. Turner, Wednesday afternoon, and burial was made in the Council Hill cemetery. Six nephews acted as pallbearers, Elmer, William B., Ben, George, Harry and Gilbert Wiethorn.
