STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for Robert Fairweather were conducted here Friday afternoon by the Rev. James P. Gable, pastor of the Methodist church. Interment was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery. The son of Robert and Mary Fairweather, he was born Aug. 26, 1855, on a farm northeast of Strawberry Point. He was married to Minnie Wiltse of Strawberry Point in 1889. They lived on his birthplace until 1913 when they moved to town. Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Claude Fairweather, Waterloo; Clint Fairweather, Edgewood, and Claire Fairweather, residing on the home farm; one sister, Mrs. Lavina Wildman of Armour, S.D.; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
