STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for Irvin Moser were held in the M.E. church last week Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Carrie V. Lucas, pastor of the Congregational church. the pall bearers were: Edgar Nodurft, Robert Bowers, Jack Lang and Junior Fenchel. Burial was in Strawberry Point cemetery.

Irvin Harold Moser, son of Mrs. Eldon Moser Grapes and the late Paul Alexander Moser, was born Feb. 12, 1928, at Strawberry Point, Iowa, and died Sunday morning in Mercy hospital at Oelwein, after a two weeks' illness of complication of diseases following an operation for appendicitis. His father preceded him in death Jan. 09, 1928. Surviving are his mother, a step-father, Eldon Grapes, and two step-sisters, Beverly Mae and Barbara Jean; also his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Moser, of Manchester, and George F. Starr of Strawberry Point.

He was in the fourth grade at school and admired by his teachers and classmates for his lovable disposition, which was also noticed by the nurses, relatives and friends during the suffering under which he lived during his fatal illness.

The bereaved parents, sisters, grandparents and relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in his passing.
