Clayton County Register, 09 June 1937.
Volga: Mr. ad Mrs. Linus Hildebrand mourn the loss of their five-weeks-old son, Dale Richard, who passed away suddenly early Friday morning.
Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Catholic church, with Mass read by the pastor, Rev. D. P. Cregan.
The body was taken to New Vienna for interment in St. Boniface cemetery, Rev. Henry Reinert officiating. The pall bearers were Donald Curran, Donald Little, Arthur Zapf and Harold Miller.
He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Junior and Howard, the grandmothers, Mrs. Rose Bockenstedt of New Vienna, and Mrs. Margaret Hildebrand of Dyersville.
