Strawberry Point: Funeral services of Bert Heddleson were held at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Thomas J. Elwick, of Elberon, a former pastor of the local church, and a close friend of the family, assisted by the local pastor, Rev. James P. Gable. Interment was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery.

Bert Heddleson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Heddleson, was born on a farm south of town on May 03, 1874, and died at his home Thursday afternoon. His entire life was spent on the farm of his birthplace until this spring, when ill health compelled him to give up farming and move to town. He never married. Surviving are three sisters, Kate Heddleson, Jessie Heddleson and Pearl Heddleson.
