GUTTENBERG: Mrs. William Blake (nee Caroline Seippel) of Clayton died suddenly of a heart attack at Dr. A. E. Beyer's office in Guttenberg Thursday forenoon at 11 o'clock, at the age of 63 years, seven months and two days.
She had been in failing health of late, and Friday came to Guttenberg to consult Dr. Beyer, when death overtook her suddenly. Mrs. Blake was born at Clayton, Iowa, October 04, 1873, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Seippel (both deceased), pioneer residents of Clayton. Her entire life was spent in the place of her birth. She received her education there.
She was married to Mr. William Blake of Clayton. Mrs. Blake was a woman of pleasing personality, held in high esteem by all who knew her, and her memories will be forever cherished by all. Her death is deeply mourned by her husband; one son; one brother; one sister, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. Zeilinger at the Lutheran church at Clayton Sunday afternoon, with interment in the Clayton cemetery. Mrs. Blake was a cousin of Mrs. Louis Geuder of Guttenberg.

Mrs. W.H. Blake of Clayton died last Thursday, following a heart attack, at the age of 63 years. Funeral services were held from the Clayton church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Zillinger, former Clayton pastor, officiating. Burial was at Clayton.
Caroline Seippel Blake was born at Clayton, October 4, 1873. She was married to W.H. Blake on March 11, 1897.
Two children were born to this union, Donald Oliver and Marion Evelyn.
She is survived by her husband and son Donald.
