Flossie Belle Kellogg Nading, widow of the late Henry Nading, died at the family home in Littleport last Friday, April 30th, at ten o'clock a.m.
Mrs. Nading was born August 04, 1893, in Lodomillo township, this county, the daughter of Alfred and Nellie Kellogg. February 24, 1912, she was united in marriage with Henry Nading, who preceded her in death on February 20, 1920. During the last 17 years she has been a resident of Littleport.
Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. Cyril Kraus, two sons, Merlin and Veryl, and one grandson, all of Littleport; her mother, Mrs. Nellie (Kellogg) Scott, of Strawberry Point; three sisters, Mrs. Chas Klatt of Lamont, Mrs. Chester Texley of Chicago, and Mrs. Claude Rosenkrans of Waterloo, and four brothers, Jansey Kellogg of Strawberry Point, Vern Kellogg of Edgewood, Gorda Kellogg of San Francisco, and Dalton Kellogg of Dundee. Her father preceded her in death in 1916, as did two sisters, Mrs. Fred Lenhart and Miss Leota Kellogg.
Mrs. Nading's heart was centered in her home. The duties as wife and mother were her greatest delight. Her children and other relatives will miss her sadly.
Funeral services were held last Sunday afternoon in the Lutheran church in Littleport. Burial was made in the Union cemetery there.
