STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for Walter Elwood Carter were held Monday afternoon at the Gill chapel, conducted by Rev. Carrie V. Lucas, pastor of the Congregational church. Burial was made in the Dundee cemetery.

Walter Elwood Carter, son of Lewis and Viva Carter, was born Jan. 06, 1928, and died after a few days' illness Jan. 29, 1937. He is survived by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Walter was in the third grade at school, well liked by his playmates and teacher, and his brief span of life has had its part in this world. He who said, "Suffer little children to come unto me." has need of this little child in His heavenly garden.
