Clayton County Register, 23 Dec. 1936.
McGregor: Funeral services for the infant daughter, Rena Esther, of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mekelburg, were held Sunday afternoon, Rev. Herbert F. Glock officiating. Burial was made in the Elkader cemetery. The baby was born Sept. 22, 1936, and died Dec. 11, at the age of two months and 19 days.
