Johan Benjamin Johnson was born on a farm in Wagner township, April 18, 1889. He was the son of Anna and Ole Johnson Rodegaard.
Until a year ago he lived on the home place. Since then he has made his home with his sister, Mrs. Elmer Ronquist. Monday, Nov. 02, he died from a fractured skull as a result of a fall.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Norway church, with the Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiating. He leaves to mourn his departure: Mrs. Lewis Larson of Nashwank, Minn., Mrs. Joe Larson of Fairmont, Minn., Mrs. Elmer Ronquist, Blaine Johnson and Olvin Johnson, all of St. Olaf, Mrs. Herbert Olson of Decorah, Mrs. Will Gehring of Elkader, and Rudolph Johnson of Fayette.
