Oct. 12, 1883, she was married to Christopher Pierstorff. They began their married life in the home community of their youth and remained for 42 years on the farm home, moving to Strawberry Point in 1920, where they purchased a comfortable home and where death came to Mrs. Pierstorff Monday morning.

Mrs. Pierstorff was a great lover of flowers, and the home farm life. It is recalled that she was a great lover of horses and was a hard working, industrious woman, a good friend and neighbor.
