Funeral services for Mrs. Priscilla Trezona were held at the Methodist church Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Kidder of Mt. Vernon, an old friend of the family, assisted by the local pastor, Rev. James P. Gable. Two selections were rendered by Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Luse, Mrs. H. H. Hofer playing the accompaniment. The pallbearers were: Chris Miersen, Dr. R. W. Dutton, Rudolph Moser, Frank Wilder, Louie Oldfather and B. W. Talcott. Interment was made in the family lot in the local cemetery.

Priscilla Jewell was born at Scales Mound, Ill., on July 28, 1840, and died at her home Wednesday morning. On May 21, 1872, she was united in marriage to John T. Trezona. For one year they made their new home at Shullsburg, Wis., then going to the family homestead at Scales mound, Ill., where for two years they engaged in farming. Then the returned to Shullsburg for three years, and from there they moved to the farm in the vicinity of County Corners, where since 1876 they made their home until they retired and moved to Strawberry Point. Mr. Trezona died July 22, 1912. Two sons, John Trezona and Dr. Earl Trezona, have also preceded her in death. Surviving are four daughters and two sons: Mrs. W. V. (Bessie) Smith and Mrs. Henry (Mabel) Kamoss of Strawberry Point; Mrs. Guy M. (Nettie) Harris of Galena, Ill.; Mrs. Arthur (Annie) Puffett of Linwood, Kansas; Will Trezona of Scales Mound, Ill.; and Lee Trezona of Brandon; also 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Trezona was an earnest worker in the Methodist church and the Industrial club. It was a pleasure to her to greet friends and neighbors. Her memory will remain precious to all who knew her best.
