Clayton County Register, 16 Sept. 1936.

LUANA: Mrs. Harvey Moore passed away early Tuesday morning after 18 months' illness, at the age of 44 years. At Christmas she became seriously ill and spent several weeks in the Postville hospital and later entered the University hospital at Iowa City for several weeks, but had been at home during the summer. Those left to mourn her passing are the husband, Harvey A. Moore, sons Will and Harley, of St. Paul, Jason, Verna, Delpha, Ruth Evelyn, and Virginia Maude, at home; two brothers, Fred Meana [sic] of Postville, and George Meana [sic] of McGregor, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Zahn, and numerous other relatives. The funeral occurred Thursday afternoon in the Methodist church. Burial was in the Luana cemetery.
