Funeral services of Mrs. George Nelson of Rock Island, Ill., were held at the local Methodist church Tuesday morning, conducted by the pastor, Rev. James P. Gable. Six of the cousins acted as pallbearers: Earl Wooldridge, Irvin Wooldridge, Louie Wooldridge, Lyle Wooldridge, Ray Porter and Willam Porter. Burial was made in the local cemetery.

Mrs. Nelson, nee Nora Wooldridge, daughter of Willis and Mary Wooldridge, was born at Edgewood, Dec. 22, 1889, and died after a year's illness, due to cancer, Saturday, Sept. 05th. She united with the Christian church Nov. 30, 1909, and Aug. 12, 1924, she was united in marriage to George Nelson at Cedar Rapids. Surviving are her husband, two sisters and one brother: Mrs. Donata Ward of Wadena, Mrs. Mabel Pete of Davenport, and Nathan Wooldridge of Cedar Rapids.
