ELKPORT: Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. William Plagman at the Evangelical Lutheran Immanuels church at Elkport. Mrs. Plagman, who died Monday at the Finley hospital at Dubuque after being in failing health for some time, had reached the age of 62 years, 11 months and 3 days.
Mrs. Plagman was born May 10, 1873, at Elkport, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ortman. She was married to William Henry Plagman November 28, 1894. One son, Arnold, was born to this union.
In addition to her husband and son, Mrs. Plagman is survived by one grandchild, three brothers, August, Henry and Otto Ortman, and three sisters, Mrs. Ida Wenkstern, Mrs. Anna Tieden, and Mrs. Elizabeth Gifford. Two sisters preceded her in death.
Burial was made at the Mount Harmony cemetery.
