Billeray Nicklaus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin H. Berse, died in an Iowa City hospital Monday after an illness of about 3 months.

The little fellow was born July 30, 1934, and so had reached the age of one year, eight months and 13 days.

Funeral services were held this morning at Sacred Heart Catholic church in Volga City with the Rev. Fr. Hammill officiating.

He is survived by his parents, one brother, Edwin J. Berse, Jr., two sisters, Marjorie Ann and Dorothy Mae, besides his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Morse of Dubuque, and aunts and uncles as follows: Mrs. Nick Ross, Oelwein; Vera Palmer, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. C. Morse, Dubuque; Jack Morse, McGregor; Ed. Morse, Chicago; Mrs. John Berse, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Eischeid, Elkader; and Mrs. G. Stevens, Oelwein.
