The death of John Hock, Jr., occurred Tuesday evening at the home of his father, John Hock, Sr., residing about four miles north of Strawberry Point, following a heart attack. Funeral services were held at the Emanuel's Lutheran church Friday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Max O. Jahr. The pallbearers were: Edwin Burrack, Vernon Burrack, Llewellyn Hock, Howard Schwartz, George Schuchmann and Paul Schuchmann. Interment was made in the St. Sebald cemetery.

Mr. Hock was born in Strawberry Point Sept. 03, 1889. He is survived by his father, John Hock, Sr., and the following brothers and sisters: Fred Hock, Mrs. Will Burrack and Mrs. Alex Schmidt and Miss Hattie Hock, all of Strawberry Point; Mrs. D. S. Taylor, Mrs. Rose E. Kleinlein, Albert Hock, the Misses Lena Hock and Emma Hock, all of Detroit, Mich.
