Regina Eberhard was born Jan. 30th, 1860, and died at her home east of town on Wednesday morning, Sept. 18th, 1912, at 5 o'clock. On Nov. 04th, 1880, she was united in marriage with George Meyer and they were the parents of eight children, five of whom survive her, together with her husband and a host of sorrowing friends. She was buried in the Catholic cemetery, south of town, the funeral being held at the church.

Those present at the services from out of town were Mrs. Stuehler, of Chicago; Mrs. Matt Wiley, of Dubuque; Mrs. Perrot and Chas. and Eugene Eberhard, of Guttenberg; and Mrs. Koester, of Mederville.
