Harold Walters, son of A. J. Walters, a former resident, who died at Iowa City as a result of an operation performed there, was brought to Mount Harmony Cemetery for interment on Wednesday.

Howard L. Walters was born near Elkport, Iowa, Jan. 01st, 1889, and died at Iowa City July 07th, 1912, aged 23 years, 6 months and 7 days. Howard leaves to mourn his untimely death, besides his parents, two sisters, Mrs. M. Hennessey, of Greeley, Mrs. Stella Wathen, of Garber, also three brothers, Will, of Elkport, Charlie, of Kingfisher, Okla., and Ray, who lives with his parents at Strawberry Point. Funeral services were held in the M.E. church at Edgewood, conducted by Rev. V. Sizemore, of Oneida. Howard was laid to rest in Mt. Harmony cemetery near Elkport.
