The death of Mrs. Dina Pollard occurred Wednesday evening about 8 o'clock, after several weeks of sickness.

Mrs. Diana Pollard was born in New York state Aug. 30th, 1830. When she was about 24 years old she moved to Clayton County, Iowa, where for the last 58 years she has made her home in this county and in the vicinity of Strawberry Point.

Those left to mourn her departure are the daughter, Mrs. Edna Miller, in whose home she has spent her last days, another daughter, Mrs. Ada McMillen, of Dubuque, Iowa, and two sons, Walter and Lyle Pollard, of Ft. Dodge, Iowa.

Besides theses are Derias Huntington, of Corvallis, Ore., and Reuben S. Huntington, of Dows, Ia.

Mrs. Pollard was called to her reward on the evening of Jan. 24th, at seven p.m. She had lived her allotted three score years and ten more, passing away at the age of 82.
