Giard, Ia. - Fred L. Becker, 91, lifetime resident of Giard Township, died Thursday at McGregor Community Hospital.

Friends may call at the Thornburg Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at the Giard Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, and burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, McGregor. Masonic services will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Surviving are one daughter, Miss Marie Becker, two sons, Irvin and Frederick, all of Giard; one sister, Miss Augusta Becker, McGregor, seven grand-children and four great-grandchildren.
