Volga, Ia. - Harold R. Champlin, of Volga, died about noon Thursday at University Hospitals in Iowa City, Ia.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, Volga, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at the Feeney-Knutson Funeral Home, Strawberry Point.
Surviving are his wife, Clara; two daughters, Miss Rosalie Champlin, Volga and Mrs. Alice Mae Ostatko, Summit, Conn.; and one son, Alan, Volga.

Services were held at the Presbyterian Church for Harold Champlin, Volga, who passed away at University Hospital.
Harold Raymond Champlin, son of Walter Champlin, was born June 9, 1899 at Rhinecliff, N.Y. On June 15, 1935 he was united in marriage to Clara Fellers at Martensburg, West Virginia.
To this union were born 2 daughters and 1 son. His occupation was a Marine Engineer, he was a member of the Lutheran Church and of the Masonic Lodge, his interests was Boy Scouts
Survivors include his wife, 2 daughters, Alice Mae Ostapke, Summit, Conn.; and Rosalee Champlin, Volga; and 1 son Allen Champlin, Volga. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
