ORTMANN, BEHRENS

Died, Friday Nov. 11th, Maria Ortmann of Elk twp., aged 78 years and 10 months.

Deceased emigrated to this country with her husband in the year 1865, and at once settled on a farm in Elk twp. where her husband died seven years ago.

She was born in Brutz, Mecklenburg Schwerin. She leaves five grown up children, John, Henry, William, Fred and Mrs. C. Behrens, also 31 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate mother.

The funeral took place Monday and was largely attended; Rev. Fuchs officiating. The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.
