Elkader Register, Thur., 24 May 1888.

Ole Olesen Bergen, an old time resident of Marion township, died on Monday afternoon, after a short sickness with liver complaint. He was about 40 years of age, and leaves a wife but no children to mourn his death. His remains were buried in the Marion cemetery yesterday.
