Elkader Register, Thur., 17 May 1888.Elkport and Vicinity column.

Died at her home in this city, Effie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. _. Menge (looks like either C. or O.), Tuesday, the 08th of May, and was buried Friday afternoon. After enduring patiently a long severe illness she at last succumbed to the will of the Almighty and passed to the beautiful land beyond. She is resting in the arms of her Savior.
