Elkader Register, Thur., 22 Dec. 1887. Farmersburg column.

The sad news reached us Thursday morning of the death of A. F. Meyer formerly of this place, but later of Edgewood. His remains were brought here for burial Saturday and were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of relatives and friends.
