Elkader Register, Thur., 27 Jan. 1887. Elkport column.

Died Jan. 25th, 1887, of consumption, Henrietta Musfeldt; aged 22 years, 5 months and 25 days. Henrietta was the daughter of Henry and Sophia Musfeldt of this township, and was beloved and respected for her kind loving disposition and her many womanly virtues. Several years ago she made a trip to Colorado and while there the seeds of this terrible disease were contracted. On her arrival home all that kind parents and friends and wealth could do was of no avail. She sleeps the sleep that knows no waking. The parents have the sympathy of hosts of friends in this their sad bereavement. The funeral takes place Thursday.
