DIED- Sunday, Jan. 16th, 1887, of heart disease, Charles Laxson; aged 53 years. "Uncle Charley" as he was familiarly called, has made his home in the family of Wm. Laxson for a long time. He has been ailing for some time, but friends thought nothing serious and were greatly shocked when they learned of his death. Mr. Laxson was an honest, upright man, a man that wronged no one and his friends were legion. His death is greatly regretted by everybody. He was buried on Wednesday; the funeral being largely attended. May he rest in peace.
