On Monday occurred the funeral of Mrs. Catherine Rebecca Depew, Mother of Mrs. James McGuire. Mrs. Depew was born in Lucas county, Penn., in January, 1800, and therefore was a few months over 86 years old at the time of her death. She came west with her son-in-law, James McGuire, some thirty years ago, and has lived here ever since. Her remains were followed to the grave by a large number of friends and neighbors.
