Clayton County Register, Thur., 12 Nov. 1931.

MONONA: Funeral service for Mrs. Rose Chapek, aged 54, was held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from the Albert Holly home, Rev. L. H. Joslin officiating. Burial was in the City cemetery beside her husband who died about sixteen years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Albert Holly and Miss Minnie Chapek, also two grandchildren.

For many years Mrs. Chapek and her daughter resided in Dubuque and about three months ago Mrs. Chapek's health failing, they came to live with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Holly. Pallbearers were Messrs. Joseph Kadlec, F. E. Lestina, Ed. Haag, Martin Vlazney, Joe Lotza, Sr., and M. F. Whittle.
