Clayton County Register, Thur., 12 Nov. 1931.

MONONA: Mrs. Frank M. Orr, wife of the president of the Monona State Bank, suffered a stroke shortly before dinner Friday morning and passed away Monday evening at the Orr home here. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock from the home with burial in the city cemetery, Rev. H. E. Morrow of Hopkinton officiating. Surviving are the husband, Frank M. Orr, two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Musser of Monona, and Mrs. Emily McCann of Chicago Heights; and four sons, Hon. C. J. Orr and H. T. Orr of Monona, L. F. Orr of Fort Dodge and Dr. K. T. Orr of Minneapolis; also seven grandchildren. To Know Mrs. Orr was to love her for her good traits were too numerous to mention. She was a true companion for her husband and numbered her friends by her acquaintances. She loved to have her children and grandchildren gather round the fireside. Monona has lost one of its choicest citizens.
