STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for Mrs. Fredericka Fultz were held at the Emanuel's Lutheran church Saturday afternoon, conducted by the pastor Rev. M. O, Jahr assisted by Rev. G. Graf of Dubuque, an old friend of the family. The pallbearers were: W. Hesner, F. Weig, P. Quinn, Wm. Reineits, F. Rebaschus and F. S. Schuchmann. Interment took place in the family lot in our beautiful cemetery.

Mrs. Fultz, nee Caroline Fredericka Young, was born at Dubuque, Iowa, January 16, 1865, and died at her home on Elkader Street Thursday noon from complications of diseases. Oct. 27, 1887, she was united in marriage to Martin Fultz. After their marriage they resided a year on a farm near Greeley and then moved to Strawberry Point, which place has since been their home. To this union four children were born, two dying in infancy. Mrs. Fultz was an active member of the Lutheran church and the Ladies Aid society attending bot meetings when health permitted her. She was a kind and thoughtful mother and accomodating neighbor. Those who mourn can be comforted by the thought that she has lived a good life and left a memory that can always be pointed to with pride. Mr. Fultz passed away Feb. 26, 1921. She is survived by her two children, Mary, a teacher at Cedar Rapids, and Carl of this place, also two sisters and one brother, Miss Minnie Young of Scott Bluffs, Neb., Mrs. Mary Bright of Minneapolis, Minn., and Wm. Young of Gould, Florida, besides other relatives and a large circle of friends.
