George Clinton passed away Sunday, August 16, at 2:20 p.m. as a result of peritinitis caused from strangulation of the bowels, following an illness of six days.

George Andrew Clinton was born September 27, 1917, and had reached the age of 13 years, 10 months and 13 days at the time of his death. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Clinton and was born near Littleport, in which community he was educated.

He is survived by his father and mother, four sisters and four brothers, as follows: Mrs. Luella Farmer, Mrs. Minnie Reif, Homer, Erwin, Vernon, Pearl, Richard and Darlene.

Deceased was a member of the Lutheran church from which church services were held last Tuesday with interment in the Union cemetery of Littleport, the Rev. G. Bunge of Garnavillo officiating.
