Clayton County Register, Thur., 13 Aug. 1931.

Gerald Fest, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fest, died Monday evening, after several months sickness. He was born in Guttenberg in March, 1912, and has always lived here. Those who mourn his death are his parents, one sister, Adetha. One brother, Leo, preceded him in death four years ago. The funeral was held from St. Mary's church on Thursday a.m. at 9:00 o'clock, the Rev. J. Dupont officiating. Burial was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
