Funeral services for Clifford L. Moser, who was drowned at Garner, Kansas, were held at the M.E. church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. T. J. Elwick. Two favorite hymns of the deceased were sung by Dr. R. W. ______, G. J. Gill, Mrs. S. Bixby and Miss Marie Jewell, with the accompaniment played by Miss Eva Preston. Interment took place in our beautiful cemetery. It was one of the largest funerals ever held here.

Clifford Leroy Moser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Moser, was born in Fayette County, Iowa, Nov. 15, 1905, and passed away July 06, 1931, at the age of 26 years, seven months and two days. In 1911 he moved to Strawberry Point, where he grew to manhood and two years later with his parents moved to their present home four miles northwest of this city, remaining there until three years ago when he accepted a position with the ___rrison Construction Co. He was with this company at the time of his tragic death.

March 18, 1931, he was united in marriage to Miss Esther Hall of Lamont. Besides his widow he is survived by his parents, one sister and three brothers, Mrs. Pearl ____ and Fred and Howard Moser of Strawberry Point, and Harry Moser of Arlington, besides other relatives and a large circle of friends.
