Mrs. Eliza Geuder died at her home Saturday morning after several weeks of sickness. There are nine children left to mourn her death, Mrs. Matt Duwe, Mrs. E. Pufahl, Lydia, Ewald and Herman of Guttenberg, Leonard and August of Minneapolis, Mrs. Fred Ortman of Charles City, and Mrs. Luft of Treemont, Illinois, and three sisters, Mesdames Anna Kohler and Yetta Geuder of this place and Mrs. Ben Roth of Dubuque. The funeral was held from St. John's Lutheran church on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00. The Rev. Emil Lehne officiated and burial was made in the city cemetery.
