Jo Ann McTaggart died August 16, 1930, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael McTaggart in Mederville. Jo Ann was born in Mederville December 1, 1928, and thus had only reached the age of one year, eight months and fifteen days. Her death came after an illness of twenty-five days during which time everything possible was done by loved ones and friends to restore her health.

She is survived by the sorrowing parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael McTaggart and three brothers and one sister, namely Donald, Francis and William and Luella.

Funeral services were held here, Monday, August 18, in St. Joseph's church and interment was made in St. Joseph's cemetery, the Rev. Father J. P. Taken officiating.
