GUTTENBERG: Last Wednesday afternoon about one o'clock, Louis Geuder Jr., committed suicide at his home in Guttenberg, by shooting himself with a rifle.
He had been ill for several years and there seemed no cure for his ailments and it is thought that he became despondent over his health.

He leaves to mourn his death his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Geuder and four sisters, Molly, Ida, Hulda and Lizzie, and one brother George and many other relatives. Mr. Geuder was a member of the American Legion.
The funeral was held from the home of his parents, Saturday afternoon. Burial was made in the city cemetery. The Rev. Emil Lehne officiated at the home and grave.
