Knut Lauve died April 15, 1930, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alfred Knudson, St. Olaf, Ia. The cause of his death was a stroke. He has been failing in health since 1923.
Knut Lauve was born July 03, 1848, in Wisconsin. In 1883 he was married to Miss Anna Iverson at Clarkfield, Minn., and to this union was born three girls and a son: Mrs. Gilbert Holum of Garvin, Minn.; Mrs. Roy Christenson of Watauga, S.D.; Mrs. Alfred Knudson of St. Olaf, Ia; and Milton Lauve of Flint, Mich., all living. Funeral services were held here Friday at 3 p.m. at the A. T. Knudson home. Rev. J. S. Strandjord officiated. The remains were taken to Clarkfield, Minn., where Monday, April 21, funeral services were held, Rev. J. E. Akre officiating.
His wife preceded him in death in 1927. The deceased has lived at Clarkfield, Minn., for fifty years. In 1928 he moved here and has lived with his daughter, Mrs. Alfred Knutson. Mr. and Mrs. Knut Lauve were charter members of Clarkfield Lutheran church.
