Mrs. Anna Larson died April 14 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irving Walters, after a long illness. She would have been 80 years old next July 9.
Mrs. Larson was born July 9, 1850 in Linnkoping, Sweden. In 1870 she was married to Ole Larson. Twelve children were born, of which the nine are living are Frank, Rockford, Ill.; Mrs. Mary Armstrong, Sask., Can.; Mrs. Anna Tyrrg of McGregor; Albert, Sask., Can.; Louis, McGregor; Mrs. Ida Soderlund, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Tillie Walters, McGregor; Carl Larson, Bertha, Minn., and Mrs. Selma Harnick, Garnavillo. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Clara Long of Swede Ridge, and one brother, Oscar Solomon, Cornith, N.D. Mr. Larson died 10 years ago. There are 35 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Swedish Lutheran church on Swede Ridge, Rev. J. S. Stradjord of St. Olaf officiating. She was a charter member of the Swedish Lutheran church in Mendon township. Her father and mother were numbered with the founders of this church.
