Elkader Register, Thur., 03 Apr. 1930. Littleport column.

Henry Luers received the sad news of the death of his sister, Miss Dora Luers, Sunday morning at the hospital in Rochester, Minn. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Earlville and burial was made at Elkader.

Funeral services for Miss Dora Luers, 69, who died at a Rochester, Minn., hospital Sunday, was held at Earlville, at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Interment was made in the Elkader cemetery. She is survived by two brothers, Henry of Littleport and John of Cresco, and three sisters, Mrs. A. M. Smith of Oakland, Cal, Mrs. Emma Lewis of Sacramento, Cal., and Mrs. D. F. Laxzon of Earlville. Quite a number from here attended the funeral services at Earlville.
