Elkader Register, Thur., 27 Mar. 1930.

Rosetta Friedley Moser was born July 03, 1861 at Erchholz, Kanton Bern, Switzerland and died at her home at Wood, Iowa on Tuesday forenoon, March 18th, 1930 at the age of 69 years, 8 mo. and 15 days.

Mrs. Moser was confirmed in the catechism in the Reform Church in Switzerland. In 1896 she came to this country, bringing her church membership with her and located at Colesburg, Iowa where she united with the Zion Methodist Episcopal Church where she remained a respected and faithful member until in February 1924 she with her husband came to Wood and united with our church there.

Mrs. Moser was united in marriage to Nick Moser December 10, 1886; to this union five children were born, four sons and one daughter all of which died in infancy except one son Earn Moser who lives in Wood, Iowa.

Mrs. Moser has been an invalid for quite a number of years, but she has born life's burdens with a fortitude and patience that would put many of us to shame. At times her suffering was most severe but one always found her hopeful and meeting life's trials with courage. Loving hands on the part of her husband, son, relatives and neighbors have ministered to her needs during the years of trials and suffering. She was a good wife, kind mother, a considerate neighbor. She is at home with God whom she loved and served. May she rest in peace. She leaves to mourn her death; her bereaved husband, one son, one grandchild, seven nephews, three nieces besides many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted by her pastor A. H. Meyer on Thursday afternoon at the Wood Methodist Church and interment was made in the Wood Ebenezer Cemetery.
