Elkader Register, Thur., 02 Sept. 1920. Strawberry Point column.

The death of Mrs. Kate Bouenton* aged 71 years occurred Friday morning at the home of her nephew, Will Knight. She had been a sufferer of cancer of the stomach for some time and death came as a relief. The funeral services were held from the Knight home Sunday conducted by Rev. Smith. Interment took place in the local cemetery.
