Elkader Register, Thur., 17 June 1920. Garber column.

We are sorry to announce the death of Chas. Biscke at the home of his mother in Jefferson township, from the effects of a paralytic stroke sustained the past week. Death took place at 6:00 a.m. Sunday. The funeral was held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment was made in Hagen cemetery., near his home. He leaves to mourn his death, his aged mother, three brothers and two sisters. Rev. Stolz officiated at the funeral services.

Notes: Hagen cemetery is a name occasionally used for the St. Paula cemetery. Spelling of surname on the family gravestone is BISCHKE
