Word was received here Thursday last that Mrs. Conrad Roeder died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. August Gruell, at Butte, Mont. The remains were brought to Elkport Monday, and the funeral was held from the Paul Schweikert home, which used to be her residence and from there to the Mount Harmony cemetery, where she was placed beside her husband, who preceded her in death quite a number of years ago. Rev. Paulson officiated at the funeral and the Lutheran church choir rendered several selections.
