After a lingering illness of several months duration, Mrs. Magdalena Roth, nee Pink, passed away, Tuesday. She was born in 1848 at Dutch Hollow, near Potosi, Wis. In 1868 she was married to John Roth, of this town, who preceded her to the grave about thirty years ago. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Louis Frommelt, Mrs. Henry Sauegling and Lena, at home; and three sons, Ben, of Dubuque, and Andrew and Leonard, of this town; also one sister, Mrs. John Lenz, of Lancaster, Joseph Pink, of Highland, Wis., and Andrew Pink, in this city. Funeral took place Friday. After services at St. Mary's Catholic church, interment in St. Mary's cemetery.

Note: Although the obit states burial in St. Mary's, she has a gravestone in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
