Register and Argus, 23 Sept. 1915. Littleport column.
Mrs. Geo. Olinger died at her home south of town, Thursday night, after a brief illness. Mrs. Olinger was an old resident here, having lived in this vicinity practically all her life and was widely and popularly known, and her sudden demise was a shock to the entire community. Mr. and Mrs. Olinger had recently sold their farm and bought a house here in town, intending to move in the spring, but the hand of fate willed otherwise and she was laid to rest at Mederville after the funeral services at the Lutheran Church and amid one of the largest followings of sympathetic friends and neighbors of any person who has died in recent years. We are without further data of the lady's life except that she leaves to mourn her husband and a son and daughter, who were present at the last sad rites and who have the sympathy of the entire community in their hour of bereavement.
