Register and Argus, 28 Jan. 1915.
E. L. Embretson, of Wagner township, was instantly killed last evening at about 3:30. Mr. Embretson, who was about fifty-four years of age and unmarried, lived on the old home farm west of the Norway church, with his aged mother. He was attending to the chores last evening and had climbed to the silo to get some feed for the stock, when he in some way fell some twenty feet to the frozen ground below, striking on the back of his head in such a manner as to crush his skull. His sudden death comes as a shock to a wide circle of friends and relatives. The funeral will be held in the Norway church Sunday afternoon at one o'clock.
