Elkader Register, 06 Aug. 1885.

DIED - At the home of William Wolter, in this place, on Sunday, August 2nd, 1885, Mr. William Becker, aged 31 years. Deceased was a native of Mecklenberg, Germany, and came to the United States in 1869. He leaves an aged mother, six brothers, and a sister, Mrs. William Wolter, to mourn is death. He was buried in the east side cemetery on Monday.
