DIED - At her home in Farmersburg township, on Friday, July 31st, 1885, of throat trouble, Lizzie W., wife of Geo. W. Pahlas. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Vogt, of Read township, and a sister of Mrs. H. C. Palas, of this township. She was born Apil 8th, 1866, and was consequently 19 years, three months and 23 days of age at the time of her death. She was highly respected by all who knew her, and her death will be greatly mourned. The afflicted husband and parents and sister will have the sympathy of all in their sorrow. The funeral occurred on Sunday, August 2nd, her remains being interred in the cemetery at Clayton Center. It was largely attended by friends and relatives.
